Scope

These terms cover use of this website. Use of the GaugeSkills platform itself is governed by the service agreement signed with your institution, which takes precedence wherever the two differ.

Accounts

Platform accounts are issued by your institution. Keep your credentials to yourself, use two-factor login where your college has enabled it, and tell your administrator promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access records belonging to other students or staff.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of the platform without written permission.
  • Do not upload unlawful material or content you have no right to distribute.
  • Do not use AI-generated output in breach of your institution's academic rules.

AI-generated content

The platform generates teaching material, quizzes and tutoring responses. Generated output is a draft: faculty review and approve material before it reaches students, and tutor responses can contain errors. Treat them as study support rather than an authoritative source, and follow your institution's guidance on academic integrity.

Availability

We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access on this page. Any service level commitments live in your institution's agreement.

Intellectual property

The platform, this website and the GaugeSkills name and marks belong to us. Content your institution and its faculty create remains theirs.
